PRE-TOUR 2024, May 26 - May 30 / Maximum 40 participants
The Pre-tour will be the opportunity to discover in more detail some of the most beautiful estates in the surroundings of Firenze and to have engaging discussions and workshops during the 4 days together

Day 1, SUNDAY, MAY 26

 

Arrivals in Firenze, Gallery Art Hotel, Vicolo dell’Oro, 5- 50123 Firenze . Check in for 1 night.

05:00pm  We meet in the hotel lobby for a welcome drink
06:00pm  Guided walking tour with Ilaria Bicchi Ruspoli and Alessia Rossini
08:00pm  Informal dinner at OBICÀ Mozzarella Bar- restaurant, Via de' Tornabuoni 16- 50123 Firenze


DAY 2, MONDAY, MAY 27
 

09:30am Your luggage with nametag in the hotel lobby
Breakfast - 10:00am Departure by bus from hotel with luggage
11:00am Visit of the POMINO estate, cellars and chapel. Introduction to the Frescobaldi history

12.30pm : Arrival at Castello di NIPOZZANO

01:00pm : Visit of the house, the wine production and cellars, the castle and a short walk. 3 course Light Lunch Experience with 3 different Frescobaldi wines, presence of Diana Frescobaldi Maniscalco 

04:00pm Leave by bus

05:00pm arrival at TORRE A CONA and check in for 3 nights

07:30pm Pre-Tour welcome dinner in the Scuderie Room with a Menu from the Chefs       

Day 2, TUESDAY, MAY 28


One day at TORRE A CONA for thematic visits and discussions
07:30am-8:00am Breakfast

8:30am-10:30am Walking visit in the vineyards of BADIA A CORTE, BADIUZZA & MOLINO (golf cars at disposal)

10:30am-11:00am Break – Return to rooms, change etc.

11:00am-12:30pm Visit of the VILLA de TORRE A CONA

01 :00pm Visit the cellar and drink

01:45pm Light lunch at the Osteria

Free time on the property, enjoy the swimming pool and park

05:00pm  Presentations  in the Theater. History, art pieces of the villa, evolution of the past 20 years….

08:00pm Gala dinner in the villa (dress code- blazer/cocktail) 



Day 3, WEDNESDAY, MAY 29
 

Breakfast - 08:45am meet at lobby- 09:00am Departure by bus 

09:30am visit ORATORIO SANTA CATERINA DELLA RUOTE in Bagno Ripoli - 10:15am leave by bus 

11:00am  Arrival in ANTINORI nel Chianti Classico, private visit of the cellar owned by FCS member

12:00pm Lunch at their rooftop restaurant Rinuccio 1180 welcome by the manager Luca Micheletti

02:30pm bus return to Torre A Cona
08:00pm Informal dinner at the Osteria TORRE A CONA


DAY 4, THURSDAY, MAY 30 (We will ask you to make a choice for the morning activity)

Breakfast from 07:00am - luggage ready for bus departure

07:30am first bus departure for the truffle hunting at Castello di BOSSI- 09:00am activity start

08:00am second bus departure for the cooking lesson with Chef Maura Vanni, member of the Italian Chef’s association. 

12:00pm visit of the historical cellar, castle and vineyards. https://www.castellodibossi.it/

01:00pm-01:30pm Lunch - the cooking lesson preparations

02:45pm- 03:00pm Leave for the hotels in Siena - Borgo San Luigi & Garden Hotel Siena

(Board members may leave with the first bus at 02:45pm)
